Equipment

What we buy under motor control center buyers

Complete MCC line-ups

Multi-section NEMA line-ups fully loaded with starters, back-to-back and front-only arrangements, with main breaker or main lug incoming sections. Allen-Bradley CENTERLINE, Square D Model 6, GE 8000 and Eaton Freedom line-ups all have deep aftermarket demand.

Buckets, starters and drives

Individual starter buckets from size 0 through size 6, reversing and two-speed units, VFD buckets, soft starters, feeder and lighting buckets, and the loose units sitting in your spares room. Buckets sell faster than line-ups and are the easiest MCC item to move.

Medium-voltage MCCs

2.4 kV, 4.16 kV and 7.2 kV medium-voltage motor control with vacuum contactors and current-limiting fuses. These are specialised, heavy and valuable, and they come mostly out of process plants, mines and pump stations.

Valuation

What the equipment is worth to you

MCC value concentrates in the buckets rather than the structure. A fully loaded line-up in a current family is worth many times an empty one. Bucket size, whether the family is still supported, and the presence of drives or soft starts are the main levers.

Two numbers sit under every offer: what the next owner will pay for a working asset, and what the copper and aluminum are worth if nobody will. We show you both, then subtract our removal cost in the open.

Removal is included, not extra

Our price includes de-energized disassembly, rigging, loading and freight. You are not buying a demolition service from us and then selling us metal separately; it is one transaction with one number.

Common questions

Questions we get on this desk

Is an empty MCC structure worth anything?

It has bus, steel and wireway value, so yes — but far less than a loaded one. If the buckets have been pulled and are sitting somewhere, include them; that is where the money is.

Do you buy individual buckets?

Yes, by the unit or the pallet, sorted or not. Buckets are the fastest-moving MCC item we handle.

What about VFD buckets and soft starters?

Bought, and generally at a premium over standard starters when the drive family is still supported and the unit powers up.

Can you take an MV motor control line-up?

Yes. Medium-voltage MCCs are heavy and require a rigging plan, but they are strong-value equipment and we buy them regularly out of process plants and pump stations.

Will you remove it from a live process area?

Yes, with phasing. Buckets on released circuits come out first, then sections as feeders are isolated, then the incoming section on the final clearance.

Selling motor control centers?

Send the list or the photos. Written offer the same business day, removal by our own crews.
