Nevada note
Nevada has fewer cities than any other state on this site and more electrical equipment per city than most. Las Vegas is the reason: casino and resort properties carry building electrical systems on the scale of small industrial plants, and renovation, rebranding and demolition cycles on the Strip and downtown release switchgear, switchboards, transformers and generator sets in quantity and on short notice. Add the convention and arena infrastructure, the hospital build-out across the valley, and the warehouse and distribution corridor toward North Las Vegas that serves the whole Southwest. Reno and Sparks are the industrial half of the state — the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center, battery and vehicle manufacturing, data centers, and the logistics operations that exist because Nevada can reach California overnight without California costs. Mining across the Carlin Trend and the Humboldt Basin runs mill and crusher installations with medium-voltage switchgear and large motor control centers, and those sites replace gear on wear rather than on age. Do we have to disconnect the equipment before you arrive?
No. We handle removal. Your electrician or the utility performs the final isolation and we verify it; from there our crews lock out, cut and cap cable at the gland, unbolt the sections, skate them out and load them. If the Las Vegas room is still partly live we phase the work.
How do you handle transformer oil in Las Vegas?
Oil is tested, drained and manifested through licensed handlers, and you receive the documentation with your paperwork. PCB-suspect units go under a separate waste profile. Nothing is left on your pad in Las Vegas and nothing gets dumped — the handling cost is already in the offer.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your Las Vegas dock. Wire, company check or cashier's check, whichever your accounting group prefers. On large phased projects we pay per load as it ships rather than holding everything until the end.
What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price Las Vegas equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
